I love this time of year. The smell of fresh pine fills our house and the aroma of cinnamon sticks is close behind... Today we went to Pike National Forest and cut down our Christmas tree. It is so fun to "get lost" in the woods... hoping to find the perfect Christmas tree, soon realizing that there is no such thing! Andy and I began the tradition last Christmas when we went up and cut our tree. Yes, they may be messy, start losing needles before Christmas day and not look all that proportionate... but that's all a part of the experience. Here is a picture of our little family with our tree. Enjoy!

It is so fun to watch Tucker with the tree... he doesn't know what to do with it in his living room. Although he is enjoying drinking the water out of the tree stand!
