The Perfect Blend
living for christ. loving people. on this journey called life.

The mission of this blog and our hope is to share Christ with all we come into contact with and by the things that we say and do, and to be a light in this world, so full of hurt and darkness. 

Handy... the perfect blend, was given to us by our youth leaders at high school youth group, where we met. After graduating high school, we went off to college together and married in May of 2008. In November 2012, we welcomed our little boy into this world and  September 2014 brought the addition of our precious baby girl.

inspireren|encouragement for moms

The word inspireren is Dutch for inspire. Since the Dutch heritage runs deep in my blood... i thought it was the perfect fit. as a new mom, I have had so much love and encouragement from others I wanted to pass along those words to you. I love being a mom. I am head over heels in love with our little guy. I think I have pretty much forgotten what it was like to not be a mama. With this said, we all need encouragement and I have my good and bad days too. Inspireren is dutch for inspire, and I hope it does just that. My prayer is that this page blesses you in this role God has called you to. I would love to encourage your personally as well, just leave a comment about how I can pray for you! We are all in this together... and I am so glad for that! Who knows what I would do without my amazing mommy friends.
