just the way He wants

Since our last post, we were able to go see the specialist to check out the Echogenic Intracardiac Focus. Our little guy checked out perfect from head to toe and the doctor went on to say that everything looked normal and even though he had this little marker in his heart, it was functioning and working just like a  normal heart. We also found out that this EIF is found in 10% of normal babies. You never know... you could have one and not even realize it!

We received a follow up all from our regular doctor today and he reassured us that everything looked good and he felt very confident that this was a normal variant. He said that if it was him, "he would not loose an ounce of sleep over it". What a relief!

Even though I had complete peace through the entire week of waiting for our specialist appointment, it is still a bit nerve-wrecking to know that there is something "different" with our little guys heart. The more and more I rested in the promises of Christ, I knew that He made him just the way He wants... EIF and all.
